The Holcomb volleyball team celebrates a point earlier this season. Holcomb defeated North Pemiscot Tuesday night.
HOLCOMB, Mo. - The Holcomb volleyball team collected straight set wins against North Pemiscot in varsity and junior varsity action on Senior Night at Holcomb Tuesday.

Holcomb won the varsity game 25-13, 25-20, and the junior varsity contest 25-6, 25-6.

"Our seniors played phenomenal during their Senior Night," Holcomb coach Zach McDaniel said. "Our juniors, sophomores and freshmen on varsity did their part as well.

"Ashley Busby had without a doubt the best game of her high school career," McDaniel continued. "She had kills, blocks, digs and aces. All our seniors poured their hearts out and left it on the floor. As a coach I couldn't be any happier with their performance. Our next game cannot come soon enough."

Holcomb is back in action next week when it begins play in the Tri-County Conference Tournament at Clarkton. The schedule has yet to be released for the tournament.
