George Nolan Burnham, Sr., 78, of Campbell, Mo., passed away Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at his residence.
Born April 21, 1934, in Louisville, Miss., son of the late George Alexandra Burnham and Grace Odell Wright Burnham, he was a U.S. Army veteran, operator and owner of Burnham Construction, and he attended the First Baptist Church in Campbell.
On Sept. 12, 1958, in Louisville, he married Mary Ann Workman.
Survivors include four sons, George Burnham, Jr., and wife, Denise, Kenneth Burnham, Guy Burnham and wife, Teresa and Charles Burnham and wife, Tammy, all of Campbell; two daughters, Deborah Henson and husband, Wade, of Foley, Ala., and Mary Forbes and husband, Joe, of Campbell; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, James, William and Bill Burnham; four sisters, Opal Rogers, Loriene Woodson, Ira Wright and Maggie Williams, and one grandson, Joey Stanford.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 26, at Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Campbell with Rev. Danny Collins officiating.
Burial will follow in the Rocky Hill Cemetery at Campbell.
