Therodo Hermond "Butch" Blankenship, 64, of Calico Rock, Ark., formerly of the Bragg City, Mo. and Kennett area, passed away Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at the VA Hospital in Little Rock, Ark.
Born Sept. 4, 1948, in Orange Grove, Fla., son of the late Tom Blankenship and Martha Smith Blankenship, he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Vietnam.
Survivors include one son, Robert Blankenship and wife, Renee, of Hornersville, Mo.; two daughters, Angie Biby and husband, Mike, of Hornersville, and Sara Suiter, of Pearson, Tenn.; two brothers, Jerry Blankenship and Charles Smith, both of Calico Rock; eight grandchildren, Christian Blankenship, Michael Easley, Justin Easley, Nathan Easley, Leah Blankenship, Tyler Dewitt, James Suiter and Ashlynn Suiter, and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m., to service time at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 12, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 12, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Moore officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
