Mary Ella McLean, 82, of Kennett, passed away Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, at her residence.
Born Oct. 27, 1929, in Gideon, Mo., daughter of the late Oscar H. Reeves and Amanda Teel Reeves, she had worked in maintenance at General Motors, and was a member of the Emerson Street Church of God.
On Oct. 20, 1962, in Tennessee, she married Frederick Thomas McLean, who preceded her in death Jan. 16, 2004. She was also preceded in death by one son, Lanny McLean; three sisters, Ulyea Redpath, Hilda Harrison and Jeanette McAlister, and two brothers, Vernon Reeves and Ethridge Reeves.
Survivors include one son, Oscar McLean and wife, Mary, of Swartz Creek, Mich.; one daughter, Paulette Passmore, of Michigan; three sisters, Velma Adkins and husband, Jack, of Kennett, Naomi Burson and husband, Ralph, of Campbell, Mo., and Glenda Albright, of Pekin, Ill.; four grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 5, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 5, at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Andrews officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery at Clarkton, Mo.
