Clara Mae Jones Small, 56, of Kennett, passed away Monday, Aug. 27, 2012, at National HealthCare in Kennett.
Born Nov. 12, 1955, in Vance, Miss., she was the daughter of the late T.W. Simmons and Ida Mae Keeler Simmons.
On May 24, 1969, in Marks, Miss., she married Willie James Small.
Survivors include her husband, Willie James Small; one daughter, Bertha Marie Jones, of Kennett; three sons, Anthony Jones and wife, Maggie, Corey Person and wife, Keisha, and Courtney Pickens and wife, Ahjhan, all of Kennett; one sister, Geneva Nancy Spiva, of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; one brother, Willie Robert Lee Seals and wife, Murline, of Kennett; 18 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins; a very special uncle, David Keller and wife, Erma; a special friend, Charles Parnell, and best friend, Linda Finley and husband, Dan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Stephan Person.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to service time at 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 1, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 1, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Noble Nelson officiating.
