Robert Lee Parker, 73, of Kennett, passed away Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at National HealthCare in Kennett.
Born Oct. 18, 1938, in Sunflower, Miss., son of the late Tommy Parker and Cora Jackson Parker, he was retired.
Survivors include five daughters, Marilyn and John D. Taylor-Lyons, of Toledo, Ohio, Corine and Ronnie Granger, of Mobile, Ala., Essie B. Overton, of Mobile, Claretta Overton, of Mobile, and Diann Overton, of Houston, Texas; nine sons, Roy and Barbara Overton, of Houston, Robert Overton, of Mobile, Roosevelt and Janice Overton, of Missouri City, Texas, Wallace Overton, of Mobile, Elijah and Gloria Overton, of Richmond, Texas, L.A. and Bobby Overton, of Leland, Miss., Cornelius Overton, of Chicago, Ill., C.B. Overton, of Los Angeles, Calif., and Willie and Janie Overton, of Chicago, and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife of over 40 years, Katie Overton-Parker; four sisters, Ethel Cage, Willie Mae Sub, May Lee Johnson and Quanita Parker, and three brothers, Sammie H. Parker, Charlie Parker and William Parker.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to service time at 1 p.m., today, Thursday, Aug. 23, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett.

Burial will follow in the Willoughby Cemetery at Kennett.
