Larry Don Heathington, 63, of Kennett, passed away Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at his residence.
Born Nov. 18, 1948, in Leachville, Ark., son of the late James Blake Heathington and Armilda Sue Adkisson Heathington, he was a supervisor for Emerson Electirc, a past member of the Eagles, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
On Nov. 29, 1991, in Cardwell, Mo., he married Shirley Whitworth.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Heathington, of Kennett; three children, Deanna Hoppe and husband, Chuck, of Gunpowder, Md., Marty Foster and wife, Kyleigh, of Kennett, and Heather Smith and husband, Robert, of Cabot, Ark.; two step-children, Kenny Dillon and wife, Diana, of Paragould, Ark., and Diane Dillon, of Paragould; nine grandchildren, Aireal and Athena Dillon, both of the home, Ashley, Sean and Chris Hoppe, both of Gunpowder, Kolby Cole, of Cabot, Lainey Dillon, of Paragould, and Bayleigh and Jackson Foster, both of Kennett, and a host of other family and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m., today, Tuesday, Aug. 21, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Rev. Doug Clinton officiating.
