Steven Dwight Boone, 61, of Marmaduke, Ark., died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012. He was born March 28, 1951, in Paragould, Ark.
Mr. Boone was formerly a truck driver and was a member of Pine Knot Church of Christ. He enjoyed getting out tinkering with things, fishing and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Boone, of the home; his father, J.D. Boone and wife, Nelda, of Kennett; his mother, Nadine Weir, of St. Louis; Mo., and one son, Steven James Lee Boone, of Paragould. He is also survived by three brothers, Larry Boone and wife, Wanda, Dennis Boone and wife, Debbie, all of Arnold, Mo., Michael Boone, of St. Louis; a half-brother, Jimmy Boone and wife, Jenny, of Rifle, Colo.; a half-sister, Becky Brink and husband, Keith, of Fayetteville, Ark.; two grandchildren, Hailey and Raven Boone, both of Paragould, and two step-brothers, Larry Smotherman, of Kennett and Hugh Smotherman, of Paragould.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Jim Weir.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 10, at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Paragould with Bill Drake officiating.
Burial was in the Pine Knot Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Rocky Ricker, Wayne Howard, Brian Boone, Gary Woodsmall, Bob Wells and Richard Weasel.
