James Wiley Bullington, son of the late Frank Bullington and Aria Bell Autry Bullington, was born Feb. 9, 1933, in Bucoda, Mo., and passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at Trinity Medical Center in Trinity, Fla., at the age of 79.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of the ASCAP as a song writer and was retired from General Motors.
On March 22, 1969, in Mt. Morris, Mich., he married Sharon Drudge.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Bullington, of New Port Richey, Fla.; two sisters, Wanda Lee, of Cardwell, Mo., and Winna Busby, of Jonesboro, Ark.; several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Paul Bullington, and one sister, Sammie McComb.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Aug. 5, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath, Mo., with Rev. Todd Milburn officiating, and Gerald Morris assisting.
Burial was in the Cardwell Cemetery.
Pallbearers were David Joe Hickland, Lester Gene Smith, Don Woods, Kermit Autry, Frank Wallace and Ellis Wayne Hyde.
