She was born Saturday, June 26, 1943, in Kennett, to the late Donald and Aladene Gramling Tinkle.
Ms. Simpson was a homemaker and she loved beading, embroidery, sewing, cooking, traveling, Bunko but most of all she loved spending time with her son, grandchildren and the rest of her family. Every year she looked forward to "Niece's Meeting". Ms. Simpson was a 1961 graduate of Senath High School in Senath, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her precious dog, Max.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Brad Simpson and wife, Holly, of Conway; sister, Pam Jackson and husband, Sonny, of Kennett; brothers, Don Tinkle and wife, Danita, of Piedmont, Mo., and Steve Tinkle and wife, Kay, of Cabot, Ark., and grandchildren, Wyite Simpson and Sadie Rose Simpson, both of Conway; and special friend, Jackie McMillian, of Tennessee.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 14, at the McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett with Brother Dell Rickman officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett under the direction of the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kappa Sigma at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.
