Lucy Vera Fish, 96, of Jonesboro, Ark., passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Jonesboro.
Born Sept. 23, 1915, in Lynn, Ark., daughter of the late John Daniel Casper and Mary Lee Britton Casper, she was a line worker at Busman Fuse Company in St. Louis, Mo., and a faithful member of the Greenboro Road Church of Christ in Jonesboro for the past 11 years.
On Sept. 30, 1939, in Kennett, she married Eslie Fish, who preceded her in death Nov. 21, 2005. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Revis Casper, John C. Casper and Ralph Casper, and two sisters, Alpha Kathleen Casper and Virginia Gilooly.
Survivors include a brother, Raymon Casper and wife, Geraldene, of Kennett; two sisters, Geralene Bearden and Evelyn Robinson, both of Jonesboro; a sister-in-law, Dean Casper, of Jonesboro; many nieces and nephews, and a special family, Kelly, Lenia, William, Whitney and Weslyn Rowe, all of Paragould, Ark.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 11, at Greenboro Road Church of Christ in Jonesboro.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 11, at Greenboro Road Church of Christ with Terry Joe Kee officiating.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m., in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
Landess Funeral Home in Malden, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
