According to reports, over 135 twirlers participated in the clinic this year. During the week long even, the twirlers learned individual baton tricks, a line twirl routine, a dance routine, and participated in a variety of twirling games. As an added treat, all twirlers learned the fight song which will be performed with the KHS majorettes during the half-time show of the first home football game.
A large crowd of family and friends was in attendance for the clinic finale which was held at 5:30 p.m., Friday, July 6, at the KMS gymnasium. During the finale, all twirlers performed a line twirl, dance routing, and the KHS fight song routine. Feature twirlers Clara Henderson and Jenny Lockhert also entertained the crowd by performing.
The Kennett majorettes and Rhew would like to thank everyone who participated in the clinic.
