Faustina "Tina" McNeil, 83, departed peacefully from this life Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Ark.
She was born to James Oliver and Golda Grooms Adams in Greene County, Ark., on February 5, 1929
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene McNeil; one daughter, Crissie Jumper, and siblings, Amos Adams, Stanley Adams, Vivian Fletcher, Wava Hunter and Gerald Wayne Adams.
She is survived by daughters, Jeanne Burnside, of Paragould, Ark., and Cathy Lambert of Jackson, Mo.; one sister, Wanda Zolman, of Paragould; five granddaughters, Heather Styer and husband, Ron, Nikki Smith and husband, Ron, Jennifer Beggs, McNeil Burnside and Natalie Engelken and husband, David, and one grandson, Adam Lambert and wife, Lea Anne. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; a niece Angela Adams, and a nephew, Gerald Wayne Adams, Jr.
She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and was retired from Arkansas Methodist Medical Center, where she worked for almost three decades. She loved to read and follow the St. Louis Cardinals.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 20, at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould.
Her life will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 20, at Heath Colonial Chapel in Paragould with Kelly Wright officiating.
Burial will follow in the Linwood Cemetery.
