Zula G. Holsten, 91, of Campbell, formerly of Holcomh, died Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at her residence in Campbell. She was a housewife. She was a member of the South Canaan General Baptist Church and taught several years in Junior Church and a member of the Women's Missionary Society.

Born on February 12, 1921, in Senath, she was the daughter of the late William Jackson Sandefer and Maggie Ester (Steveson) Sandefer. On March 17, 1939, in Senath, she was united in marriage to Lindell Holsten, who preceded her in death on February 7, 2003.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Scott Holsten.

Survivors include two sons, Denny Holsten of Campbell and Jerry Holsten of Holcomb; two grandchildren, Tracy Holsten of Dallas, Texas, and Toby Holsten of Campbell; two great-grandchildren, Kody Holsten of Campbell and Kaylee Holsten of Campbell, one sister, Jean Karnes of Campbell and one brother, Delano Sandefer of Hernando, Miss.

Visitation was held Friday, June 8, at Landess Funeral Home in Campbell. Funeral services followed immediately in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Josh Carpenter officiating. Burial was in Dunklin County Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett. Landess Funeral Home of Campbell was in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the South Canaan General Baptist Church.
