Clinton Williams, 93, of Campbell, Mo., passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell.
Born Nov. 16, 1918, in Beebee, Ark., son of the late James Clyde and Alice Rachelle Williams, he was a retired farmer and a mechanic, and of the Baptist faith.
On Aug. 3, 1941, in Dunklin County, he married Grace Thornburg.
Survivors include his wife, Grace Williams, of Campbell; two sons, Michael Williams and wife, Mary, of Campbell, and James Williams and wife, Regina, of Waverly, Tenn.; one daughter, Sherry King and husband, Jackie, of Bernie, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Michelle Marshall, Jessica Hightower, Chris King, Cory King, Marshall King, Jennifer Reed and Gwen Olinger; nine great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Owie Williams, of New Jersey and Arthur Williams, of Albuquerque, N.M., and one sister, Joyce Smith, of Malden, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Wednesday, June 13, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 14, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Campbell with Rev. Bryan Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Park Cemetery at Malden.
