Zula G. Holsten, 91, of Campbell, Mo., formerly of Holcomb, Mo., passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at her residence.

She was born on February 12, 1921 in Senath, Mo., to William Jackson Sandefer and Maggie Ester Stevenson Sandefer.

On March 17, 1939, in Senath, she married Lindell Holsten who preceded her in death on Feb.7, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and one grandson, Scott Holsten.

She was a housewife, member of the South Canaan General Baptist Church and a member of the Women's Missionary Society. She also taught several years in Junior Church.

Survivors include two sons, Denny Holsten of Campbell, and Jerry Holsten of Holcomb; two grandchildren, Tracy Holsten of Dallas, Texas, and Toby Holsten of Campbell; two great-grandchildren, Kody Holsten and Kaylee Holsten, both of Campbell; one sister, Jean Karnes of Campbell; one brother, Delano Sandefer of Hernando, Miss.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., today, Friday, June 8, at Landess Funeral Chapel in Campbell with Rev. Josh Carpenter officiating.

Burial was in Dunklin County Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett.

Memorials may be made to the South Canaan General Baptist Church.

Landess Funeral Home of Campbell was in charge of the arrangements.
