Wanda Lee Simpson Rackley, 78, of Clarkton, Mo., passed away Sunday, June 3, 2012, at Gideon Care Center.
Born Aug. 27, 1933, in Clarkton, daughter of the late LeRoy Smith and Dorothy Kifer Smith, she was a member of the Stanfield Baptist Church in Clarkton.
On Sept. 17, 1949, she married Leonis L. "Bo" Simpson, who preceded her in death on June 19, 1975. On Jan. 11, 1984, in Kentucky, she married Earnest Rackley, who preceded her in death on Feb. 26, 1998. She was also preceded in death by a brother, L.D. "Bud" Skidmore.
Survivors include three sons, Steven Simpson and wife, Donna, Tony Simpson and wife, Cindy, and Shawn Simpson and wife, Sheila, all of Clarkton; one daughter, Shelly Simpson McDavid, of Clarkton; one sister, Bernice Patterson, of Clarkton; 11 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Tuesday, June 5, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 6, at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with Revs. Jack Allen and Dale Rickman officiating.
Burial will follow in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton.
