Donald James Srum, son of the late Armand and Thelma Adkerson Srum, was born April 1, 1937, in Cardwell, Mo., and passed away Friday, June 1, 2012, at St. Joseph Hospital in Hot Springs, Ark., at the age of 75.
On April 9, 1955, in Hernando, Miss., he married Pat Clark.
He was U.S. Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Srum, of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; one son, Rick Srum, of Chicago, Ill.; two daughters, Robin Lowing, of Mechanicsburg, Penn., and Donna Marshall and husband, Burton, of Tallahassee, Fla.; one sister, Jean Shrum; two nephews, Larry Shrum and Brad Clark; one niece, Stephne Hatch; 10 grandchildren, Courtney Srum, Kelly Consiglio, Clark Srum, Kayla Srum, Daniel Lowing, Craig Lowing, Chris Marshall, Kacie Marshall, Korie Marshall and Keith Marshall; four great-grandchildren, Jordan Marshall, Wesley Marshall, Kimberly Marshall and Cordelia Marshall, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Joe Shrum.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., today, Tuesday, June 5, at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shannon Miller officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Joe Phillips, Gaylon Clark, Dennis Clark, Jim Vickery, Jim Webb and Randy Conardy.
