Kerry was born Feb. 15, 1943, in Kennett. He was the son of Hubert and Frances Cook. Kerry attended the University of Missouri and was in the US Marine Corp Reserves. In 1964 Kerry started his career working at JC Penney in Memphis Tenn. He spent his 39 year career as a store manager working throughout Florida and Louisiana and retired as the District Manager on the Island of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Kerry spent his retirement years with his wife enjoying their boat and being on the water, and watching their family grow.
Kerry is survived by his wife, Sherrene; their son, Justin Moore, Donna Cook Kennon, the mother of their children, Jennifer Anne Glemser and Darren Kelly Cook; his brother, Keith Cook and wife, Becky; his mother-in-law, Barbara Danks; his brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Amber Danks; his nieces and nephews, Chris and Cindy Cook and Jude and Claire Danks, and his two grandchildren, Cole Glemser and Regan Cook.
Kerry accomplished all he set out to do in life and his family looked back and celebrated Saturday, June 2, at Sunset Bay Marina in Stuart.
