Born Aug. 24, 1946, in St. Louis, Mo., son of the late Clarence A. Bunton and Louise Poteet Bunton, he was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Vietnam. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Piggott, Ark., a member of the Association of American Retired Persons, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Assoc., and the Experimental Aircraft Assoc., and a disabled combat vet.
On Dec. 22, 1986, in Winter Haven, Fla., he married Sally Etter Barkley.
Survivors include his wife, Sally Bunton, of Holcomb; three daughters, Michelle Lewis and Angela Zitnak, both of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Tiffany Hall, of Polk City, Fla.; two sons, John Jacobsen and Joshua Jacobsen, both of Winter Haven; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time at 11 a.m., Friday, June 1, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, Mo.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 1, at the Bradshaw Chapel with Revs. Jay Masterson and Carl Brown officiating.
Burial with military rites will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, Mo.
