James married Zerna B Webb on June 19, 1982.
He was in the United States Air Force and served in Vietnam during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Zerna B Cauble, of Kennett; his mother, Bessie Schaake, of St. Jacob, Ill.; two sons, Wesley Lee Cauble, of Kennett and DeWayne Edward Cauble, of Eldon, Mo.; six daughters, Sherry Lee Emery, of Williamsville, Mo., Robin Lynn Cauble, of Kennett, Becky Sue Mayberry, of Kennett, Vickey Mae Owens, of Piggott, Ark., Karen Sue Benson, of Holcomb, Mo., and Elizabeth Ann Brantner of Kennett; 21 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, and other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by one son, James Lee Cauble Jr., and one daughter, Abby Gail Tinsley.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Tuesday, May 29, at McDaniel Funeral Service in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 30, at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.
Burial will follow at 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield, Mo.
Pallbearers will be Randy Benson, Phillip Caldwell, Jimmie Owens, Jamie Owens, Ronald Emery and William Cauble.
