Freddie Eugene Singleton, son of the late Charles Singleton and Rachel Cannon Singleton, was born on June 20, 1950 in Kennett, and departed this life Thursday, May 24, 2012, at the age of 61 years 11 months and 4 days.

Freddie married Sharon Trainer on October 26, 1968.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Singleton, of Kennett; three sons, Freddie Eugene Singleton, Jr., of Kennett, Jeff Singleton and Gayla, of Kennett, and Scott Singleton and Jason Stephens of Kennett; one daughter, Ashley Singleton and Brian Warren, of Kennett; three grandchildren; Jeffery Allen Jr., Matthew Scott and Chelsea Shae Singleton; two great-grandchildren, Joelyn Koy Rollins and Jeffery Allen Singleton III, and other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Singleton and Troy Singleton.

Funeral services were held at noon, Saturday, May 26, at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Revs. Charles James and Jay Masterson officiating.

Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett.

Pallbearers were Dale McKie, Mark Trainer, Tommy Campbell, Kerman Anderson, Allen Cannon and Ed Cannon.

Honorary pallbearers were Larry Samples, Mark Dollins, Mike Trainer, Sr., Mike Trainer, Jr., Glen Trainer, Gary Singleton, Jason Stephens, and William Singleton.
