Mack Creed Jones, 58, of Malden died Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Ark. He had been a car salesman for approximately 35 years, 11 with Glen Sain of Kennett. He was a member of the Poplar Bluff Masonic Lodge #209 and a member of the Three Rivers Shriner's Club where he had served as past President. He was a member of the Malden Methodist Church.

Born in Gideon on August 17. 1953, he was the son of Elmer Louis Jones and Emma Lou (McAllister) Jones. On January 3, 1997, in Malden he was united in marriage to Verna (Smith) Jones, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are two sons, Art Jones and wife, Jill, of Cape Girardeau and Jarrad Keating of Hornersville; one daughter, Brittney Keating of Poplar Bluff; one grandson, Brycen Jones; two brothers, Kenneth Jones and wife, Glenna, of Millington, Tenn., and Gill Jones and wife, Laverne, of Campbell; two sisters, Elizabeth Kimmons and husband, Clark, of Marion, Ark., and Brenda Howell and husband, Billy, of West Memphis, Ark.; mother-in-law, Diane Smith of Arbyrd, Mo.; father-in-law, Joe Smith of Arbyrd, brother-in-law, Bobby Smith and wife, Brenda, of Senath and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

A Memorial Service was held Tuesday, May 8, at the Methodist Church in Malden with Mr. Bill Hampton officiating. Landess Funeral Home of Malden was in charge of arrangements.
