Mary Lou Fields, 85, of Grand Prairie, Texas, formerly of Malden, died Friday, April 27, 2012, at her residence in Grand Prairie, Texas. She was a housewife and a member of the First Christian Church in Malden.
Born in Campbell on September 7, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Ranzy Dell Baggett and Hess Stella (Lowery) Baggett. On March 12, 1946, in Piggott, she was united in marriage to John Wesley Fields, who preceded her in death on June 13, 2011.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lucille Cox and Christine Pace and two brothers, Bob Baggett and John Baggett.
Surviving are two daughters, Beverly Allen and husband, Duane, of Grand Prairie and Pattie Consolo and husband, Paul, of Sahuarita, Ariz.; one son, John Fields, Jr., and wife, Cheryl, of Gainsville, Texas; 10 grandchildren, Jeremy Allen, Scott Allen, Sloane Allen, Warren Eaves, Sara Eaves, Nicole Stamey, Rachel East, Jeremy Brown, Eddie Brown and Chris Bown, nine great-grandchidren and one brother, Louis Baggett of Campbell.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 4, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, at Landess Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services will follow immediately in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Jeff Krupinski officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden. Landess Funeral Home of Malden was in charge of arrangements.
