Geraldine P. Collins, daughter of the late Amos Patton and Tiny Henderson Patton, was born Oct. 28, 1936, in Palls Valley, Okla., and departed this life Thursday, April 12, 2012, at the age of 75 years, 5 months and 15 days.
On July 12, 1952, she married Dewey Collins.
Survivors include her husband, Dewey Collins, of Kennett; one son, Carl Lee Collins and wife, Mary, of Kennett; three daughters, Deborah Lance and husband, Terry, of Kennett, Connie Lynn Oxford, of Jacksonville, Ark., and Brenda Powers and husband, Todd, of Cabot, Ark.; two brothers, Joe Patton, of St. Louis, Mo., and Roger Patton, of Little Rock, Ark.; one sister, Earline Collins, of Bragg City, Mo.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one step-grandson, and other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Christine Daniels and Virginia Howren and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Saturday, April 14, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, April 14, at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Rev. William Quillin officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Long, Josh Holdren, Jason Crosskno, Dustin Hamlett, Matt Holdren and Chris Collins.
