Syble Lorraine Palmer, daughter of the late Milburn Sutton and Sarah Clubb Sutton, was born Aug. 31, 1921, in Kennett, and departed this life Saturday, March 31, 2012, at the age of 90 years and 7 months.
Syble was married to Lowell Palmer who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by one grandchild, Hannah Grace Orf; three brothers, Floyd Sutton, Winfred Sutton and Wesley Sutton and one sister, Goldie Lemonds.
Survivors include one son, Mike Todd and wife, Nancy, of Senath, Mo.; four daughters, Linda Masterson and husband, Larry, of Senath, Carla Smith and husband, Mitchell, of Senath, Sarah Dye, of Kennett, and Julie Orf and husband, Gaylon, of Kennett; 13 grandchildren, Kim Startup, Susan Masterson, Shannon and Beth Todd, Jessica Wilkins, Jordan Smith, Jarrod, Cameron and Erin Dye, and Greg, Gretchen, Luke and Olivia Orf; eight great-grandchildren; Little "Sis" Barbara Cuff, of Kennett; a sister-in-law, Reva Sutton, of Kennett, and other relatives and many friends.
The family requests donations be made to Kennett First Baptist Church or Senath First Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 2, at McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Revs. Ed Jansson and Dale Rickman officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Startup, Shannon Todd, Jordan Smith, Jacob Wilkins, Jarrod Dye and Cameron Dye.
Honorary pallbearers were the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
