Junior Wiseman, son of Freda Hopper Wiseman and the late Walter Wiseman, was born Oct. 17, 1942, in Mountain Home, Ark., and departed this life Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at the age of 69.
On Feb. 12, 1968, in Kennett, he married Wanda Odum, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by two step brothers, James Walter Wiseman and Victor Gale Wiseman.
Survivors include his mother, Freda Wiseman, of Kennett; three sons, Wade Junior Wiseman, of Kennett, Mark Wiseman and wife, Sandy, of Kennett and Wayne Odum and wife, Nona, of Kennett; two daughters, Teresa Smith and husband, Roger, of Kennett and Charley Cooper, of Piggott, Ark.; six grandchildren, Chris Smith, Anthony Odum, Justin Dickson, Ryan Odum, Nichole Chism and Jessie Paul Wiseman; six great-grandchildren, Emily, Layken, Adelyn and Dawson Smith, Sophia Grace and Rhylee Kale Odum; two brothers, James Wiseman and wife, Karen, of Kennett and Lonnie Wiseman and wife, Linda, of Kennett; two sisters, Donna Jean Avants and husband, Charles, of Kennett and Joyce Roberts and husband, Junior, of Kennett; two step-sisters, Betty Jean Henley and Rebecca Sue Smith, and other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, Thursday, March 22, at The Bridge Church in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 23, at The Bridge Church with Pastor Waylon Tom officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Chris Smith, Anthony Odum, Justin Dickson, Ryan Odum, Larry Wallace, Mark Wiseman, Jessie Wiseman and Roger Smith.
Honorary pallbearers are Charles Conder, Wayne Odum, Darrell Roberts, Isaac Hampton and Pete Goerzen.
