Ronnie Coleman
Ronnie G. Coleman, 70, a lifelong area resident of Hornersville, Mo., died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Mr. Coleman was born July 18, 1941, in Hornersville, to the late Arthur and Della Fiddler Coleman. He was a member of the Hornersville Baptist Church, Hornersville Masonic Lodge, American Legion and Farmers and Merchants. He was a roofer and worked for Southern Pacific and Cotton Belt Railroad and was an Army veteran. He enjoyed working in his yard and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include; his wife of 50 years, Glenda Coleman, of the home; one son, Ronald S. Coleman, of Hornersville; two daughters, Pam Schlapak, of Hornersville and Donna Whitmer and husband, Michael, of Hornersville; two brothers, Bobby Coleman, of Hornersville and Billy Joe Coleman, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; six grandchildren, Latisha Wagner, Lucy Coleman, Ron Coleman, Sterling Schlapak, Elizabeth Whitmer and Andrew Whitmer; three great-grandchildren, Jena Dogan, Hailey Wagner and Valerie Wagner, and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, John Daniel Coleman, Junior Coleman, Leonard Coleman and Smokey Coleman, and two sisters, Freda Bridges and Kay Holloway.

Memorial Services will be held at noon, Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Hornersville Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Moore officiating.

Interment will follow in the Horner Cemetery at Hornersville, under the direction of Faith FuneralService Manila, Ark.
