Clo Ella Sparks, 92, of Malden died Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter. She was a sales clerk. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Malden, member of the United Methodist Women's Circle and a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

Born in Malden on March 12, 1919, she was the daughter of the late William L. Roehm and Sybol Lynn Roehm. On November 24, 1984 in Malden, she was united in marriage to Harold Sparks, who preceded her in death.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Printis Pillow, Albert Squires and Harold Sparks, one daughter, Carole Hill and one brother, Bill Roehm.

Survivors include two sons, Mark Squires and wife, Joan, of Sun Prairie, Wis., and Norman Sparks and wife, Debby, of Knoxville, Tenn.; two daughters, Margie Dee Nieward and husband, Harry, of St. Francis, Ark., and Joyce Bailey and husband, High, of Flint, Mich.; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one brother, Jim Roehm of Malden, two sisters, Betty Bailey and husband, Joe, of Dexter and Phyllis Patterson and husband, Jerry, of Collierville, Tenn., and sister-in-law, Margie Roehm of Naples, Fla.

Visitation was held Saturday, February 11, at Landess Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services followed immediately in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Pam Ekey officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden. Landess Funeral Home of Malden was in charge of arrangements.
