Tom Sharl Champ, 64, of Kennett, passed away Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Feb. 16, 1947, in Bragg City, Mo., son of Jim Champ and Mattie Speaks Champ, he was a machine operator for Federal Mogul.
He married Pam Avery, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Martha Anderson, of Granite City, Ill., and Tammy Kaye Fernandez, of Washington, Mo.; two brothers, William Champ and Richard Champ; three sisters, Helen Smith, Barbara Higgins and Connie Cluck; four grandchildren, Brandon Lee, Ashley Mix, Tommy Mix and Cameron Hurrell; mother of children, Irene Duboise, of Texas, and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by one son, Tom Champ, Jr.; one brother, Jimmy Champ, Jr., and one sister, Fannie Ruth Carter.
No visitation is planned.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 4, at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett.
