He was born in Missouri and has lived in Tucson since 1968. Doyle was a faithful member and preacher for the Church of Christ all of his life. He retired from Amphitheater Schools in 1985.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Iva Frances Sissom Fox; a daughter, Patricia Marburger and husband, Sandy; sons, Martin Fox and wife, Donna, and Marvin Fox and wife, Toni; a brother, Charles Fox and wife, Reva; sisters, Velma Woodard and husband, Paul, Frances Lou Hill and Virginia Gustafson; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Patricia D. Fox, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his oldest son, Mitchell, and his brothers, Dorsie and Gerald.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 4, at the South Lawn Mortuary in Tucson.
Funeral services will be held at noon, Saturday, Feb. 4, at the South Lawn Mortuary.
