Betty Sue Wilkins, 82, of Hornersville, Mo., passed away Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

Born Dec. 30, 1929, in Hornersville, daughter of the late Jess L. Duty and Arevia York Duty, she was a homemaker, a member of the Hornersville Baptist Church, and the Order of the Eastern Star Hornersville Chapter No. 523.

On Jan. 2, 1949, she married Thomas B. "Pete" Wilkins, who preceded her in death on Nov. 30, 1983.

Survivors include one daughter, Gail Tipton and husband, John, of Linn Creek, Mo.; one son, Allen Wilkins and wife, Jan, of Woodlands, Texas; one sister, Louise Gore, of Vidalia, La.; three grandchildren, Laurie Shinault, Becca Tipton and Colton Wilkins; two great-grandchildren, Brock Shinault and Blair Shinault, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m., until service time at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 1, at the Hornersville Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 1, at the Hornersville Baptist Church with Bro. Paul Moore and Bro. Dale Rickman officiating.

Pallbearers are Joe Mel Hinsley, Terry Keating, Mike James, Mark Moore, Marty Moore and Jerry Branum.

Honorary pallbearers are Bond Rouse, Jimmy Lee, Jr., Jim McCaleb and Winford Henson.
