Mandy Geneva Holder, daughter of the late Joseph and Mandy Jane Northcutt Coats, was born Jan. 17, 1925, in Greene County, Mo., and passed away Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett, at the age of 87.
On Dec. 6, 1941, in Hornersville, Mo., she married George Wesley Holder, who preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 1975. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Sue; two brothers, Tommy Coats and Gilbert Coats, and three sisters, Lonnie, Bonnie and Ruth.
Survivors include three sons, William Holder, of Batesville, Ark., Paul Wayne Holder, of Paragould, Ark., and David Lee Holder, of Arbyrd, Mo.; five daughters, Barbara Davis, of Jackson, Tenn., Linda Holder, of Cave City, Ark., Betty Lancaster, of Arbyrd, Sheila Winkle, of Fayetteville, Ark., and Nina Holder, of Batesville, and one brother, James Coats, of Cherry Valley, Ark. Her love knew no bounds of a five generation host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, and other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held today, Friday, Jan. 27, until 2 p.m., at the United Pentecostal Church in Arbyrd.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., today, Friday, Jan. 27, at the United Pentecostal Church with Revs. Floyd Ryles and Vernon Purser officiating.
Burial will follow in the Senath Cemetery.
