He was born Nov. 18, 1940, in Kennett. Langdon was a fourth generation attorney and a life-master bridge player. He was also an expert fisherman, a great baseball player and coach, and an avid gardener.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Henry Jones and Evelyn Jones, as well as one son, Quintin Jones.
Langdon was survived by three children, Langdon III, Lillith, and Andrea; and his ex-spouse Esther Ruth Jones. He left three siblings, Mike Jones and Lauranne Jones Wood, of Florida, and Patricia Jones Yankouski, of Georgia.
A service will be held in Kennett at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Presbyterian Activity Center.
