Marvin W. Ross, 73, of Malden, Mo., passed away Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, at his residence.

Born May 12, 1938, in Wilson, Ark., son of the late Marvin O. Ross and Lillian Russell Ross, he was owner/operator of Marvin's Head Quarters in Dexter, Mo., and Double Paltium with Team National.

On Jan. 16, 1981, in Gray Ridge, Mo., he married Joyce Marie Klutts, who preceded him in death on July 17, 2005. He was also preceded in death by his parents; a son, Greg Ross, and a step-daughter, Rhonda Gail.

Survivors include a daughter, Karen Wills and husband, Larry, of Bloomfield, Mo.; a step-son, Danny Maddox, of Texas; three grandchildren, Brett Berchtold and wife, Jessica, Joseph Wills and wife, Kathryn, and Amber Allen and husband, Will; four great-grandchildren, Reaagan Berchtold, Samuel Berchtold, Ben Berchtold and Josh Berchtold, and a sister, Dixie Bailey and husband, Tom, of Amarillo, Texas.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 16, at Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with Rev. Ben Jordan officiating.

Burial was in the Elder Cemetery at Campbell, Mo.
