Survivors include one son, David McCarty, of Bonita, Calif.; two daughters, Teresa Stonesifer, of LaMesa, Calif., and Karen Leever, of Alpine, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five sisters, Patricia McCarty Winstead, of Richmond, Va., Peggy McCarty McMillin, of Kennett, Bonnie McCarty Martin, of Kennett, Anna McCarty Noble, of Farmington, Mo., and Rhonda McCarty Sanders, of Farmington, Mo.; many nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
Enoch Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Sue McCarty; one son, Rueben Dale McCarty; six brothers, Donald Lee McCarty, Richard Earl McCarty, William Franklin McCarty, Thomas Dale McCarty, Jimmy Wayne McCarty and Jerry Ray McCarty; four sisters, Mary Agnes McCarty, Mildred McCarty McElwrath, Betty McCarty Stockton Braska and Alice McCarty Wilkerson.
Enoch served his country for 20 years in the United States Navy.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Friday, Jan. 13, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 14, at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Rev. Don Sheerin officiating.
Burial will follow in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are Dan Sanders, Mark Noble, Marty McMillin, Jeff Martin, Brant Martin and John Sanders.
Honorary Pallbearers are Charles McMillin, Kerry Noble, Tom Sanders and Ray Wilkerson.
