Richard Lee Wilson, son of Jewell Martin Wilson and the late James W. Wilson, was born Dec. 4, 1952, in East St. Louis, Ill., and passed away Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012, at the Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett, at the age of 59.
On April 9, 1999, in Kennett, he married Diane Parker.
Survivors include his mother, Jewell Wilson, of Kennett; his wife, Diane Wilson, of Rector, Ark.; four children, Marlaina Wilson, of Arbyrd, Mo., Brian Parker, of Rector, Lee Jones, of Paragould, Ark., and Stacy Walker, of Kennett; three brothers, Dave Hambrick, Al Hambrick and Jim Wilson; two sisters, Doris Mills and Mary Turner; 14 grandchildren and other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Wilson, and a brother, Terry Wilson.
Funeral services were held at noon, today, Friday, Jan. 13, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath, Mo., with Rev. Kevin Sullivan officiating.
Burial will be held at 3 p.m., in the Center Hill Cemetery at Doniphan, Mo.
Pallbearers were Rob Sharp, Lee Jones, Brian Parker, Kermin Anderson, Amos Rudd and Dave Hambrick.
