Johnny Lodrigue, son of Janetta Gail Johnson Lodrigue and the late Vernal Lodrigue, was born Oct. 3, 1954, in Brownsville, Tenn., and passed away Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at the Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., at the age of 57.
On March 24, 2011, in Cardwell, he married Regina Houseman.
Survivors include his wife, Regina Houseman Lodrigue, of Cardwell, Mo.; his mother, Janetta Gail Johnson Lodrigue, of Cardwell; two sons, Justin Kersey and Daniel Lodrigue, both of Cardwell; a step-son, Matt Houseman, of Arbyrd, Mo.; one daughter, Brittney Lodrigue, of Cardwell; two step-daughters, Jennifer Fleetwood, of Risin, Ark., and Christina Hollis, of Cardwell; three brothers, James Lodrigue, of Ft. Worth, Texas, Jerry Lodrigue, of Freeport, Texas and Jack Lodrigue, of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Darlene Lodrigue, of Oklahoma, Jennifer Lodrigue, of Freeport and Julie Lodrigue, of Houston; seven grandchildren, and other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 8, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath, Mo., with Rev. Jeff Chandler officiating.
Burial was in the Cardwell Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Matthew Houseman, Jake Davidson, Jerry Lodrigue, James Lodrigue, Tony Kersey and Stanley Kersey.
