Dylan Kase Cornett, 19, of Gideon died Monday, December 12, 2011, at Gideon. He was a graduate of Gideon High School and was employed at Cornett Auto Sales. He was a member of the Spoonerville Baptist Church.

Born in Poplar Bluff on January 4, 1992, he was the son of Jerry Cornett and Michelle (Robards) Cornett.

Survivors include his father and step-mother, Jim Cornett and wife, Deloris, of Campbell; raised by his grandparents, Jerry Cornett and Michelle Cornett of Malden; four brothers, James Aaron Cornett and wife, Amy, of Alcoa, Tenn., Damon Lee Cornett of Malden, Devon Jankowski of Bernie and Logan Freeman of Malden; one sister, Lacy Freeman of Malden; uncle, Rob Cornett and wife, Tammy, of Malden and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dianna Trammel, and uncle, Jerry Lee Cornett.

Visitation was held Thursday, December 15, at Landess Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services were conducted on Friday, December 16, in the funeral home chapel with the Reverend Richard Blagg officiating. Burial was in Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton. Landess Funeral Home of Malden was in charge of arrangements.
