Lonnie Winchester, 60, of Piggott, Ark., passed away Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011, at his home.
He was born on May 28, 1951, in Gideon, Mo., and was the son of the late Leo Marion and Mary Louise Sutterfield Winchester.
He was united in marriage to Karen Strickland on March 11, 1975, and to this union five children were born.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by an infant son, Scotty Dewayne Winchester; one brother, Larry Dale Winchester; one sister, Ramona Winchester; one granddaughter, MaKayla Joann Harrison; his grandparents and many uncles and aunts.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Winchester, of Piggott; two sons, Steven Winchester and wife, Jennifer, of Holcomb, Mo., and Kevin Harrison and wife, Linda, of Piggott; two daughters, Natasha Winchester, of Campbell, Mo., and Bridget Merriman, of Piggott; six grandchildren, Austin Harrison and Michael Breedlove, both of Clarkton, Mo., Dylan, Kayleigh, and Wade Winchester, all of Holcomb, and Lily Merriman, of Piggott; three step-grandchildren, Amber Malone, Franklin Morlan, and Daniel Lamp, all of Piggott; brother, Leo Edwin Winchester, of Gideon; six sisters, Karen Alleen Riddle, of Dexter, Mo., Sheila Renae Cowan, of Birch Tree, Mo., Ronna Gene Torres, of Greenville, Texas, Ruth Anne Lovett, of Malden, Mo., Debbie Vandiver, of Quinlin, Texas, and Dennies Pavy, of Quinlin, and a host of other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at 5:30 p.m. until service time, Thursday, Dec. 22, at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Chapel in Piggott.
Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 22, at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, with Raymond Cowart officiating.
