Stanley Alan Peace, son of the late Joe Peace and Ruth Burns Peace was born Oct. 1, 1953, in St. Joseph, Mich., and departed this life on Dec. 15, 2011, at the age of 58.
On Nov. 29, 1994, in Piggott, Ark., he married Susan Earl and was a veteran having served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Peace, of Senath, Mo.; one son, Mathew Peace of Atlanta, Ga.; one daughter, Heather Tribble and her husband, Joey, of Kennett, Mo.; one step-daughter, April Aldridge and her husband, Jimmy, of Dexter, Mo.; three brothers, Bobby Joe Peace and his wife, Marcia, of Tampa, Fla., Kevin Peace and his wife, Mary Lou, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Jeff Peace, of Piggott; two sisters, Devora Kingery and her husband, Sonny, of Poplar Bluff, and Terry Hunger and husband, David, of Lennox, Mich.; five grandchildren, Austin Aldridge, Kaleb Tribble, Morgan Aldridge, Karmine Tribble, King Tribble and other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 18, at McDaniel Chapel with Brother Kim Bridges officiating. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery in St. Francis, Ark.
Pallbearers will be Joey Tribble, Jimmy Aldridge, Josh Gibson, Mickey Webb, Ron Frazier and Larry Bowling.
McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
