Jackquelin "Jackie" Walters Godfrey, 70, of Kennett, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011, at Heritage Nursing Center in Kennett.
Born Feb. 21, 1941, in Kennett, daughter of the late Leroy Walters and Viola Hart Walters, she was a homemaker and a member of the East Side Baptist Church in Paragould, Ark.
She married James Godfrey in Paragould.
Survivors include two sons, Larry Thomas Walters and Keith Aaron Dais, both of Kennett; one daughter, Rinthia Ann Williams, of Kennett; three step-sons, Randy Godfrey, of Paragould, Danny Godfrey, of West Virginia and Ronnie Huffman, of Paragould; four step-daughters, Rose Blagg, of Paragould, Brenda Godfrey, of West Virginia, Doris Fleeman, of Salem, Mo., and Crystal, of Canada; one brother, Jerry Paul Walters, of Kennett; three sisters, Wanda Mitchell and Sharon Alsup, both of Kennett and Diane, of Troy, Ill.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by one son, Terry Lee Walters; one sister, Betty McAllister and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 10, at Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with Rev. Charles James officiating.
Burial was in the Green County Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Paragould.
