Geraldine Harmon, 84, of Piggott, Ark., passed away Monday, Nov. 28, 2011, at her home.
She was born Jan. 3, 1927, in Boydsville, Ark., and was the daughter of the late William P. and Ollie May Fagan McLeskey.
She was united in marriage to Frank Elmore Davis, Sr. on Sept. 17, 1947 and to this union two sons were born. Frank preceded her in death on Sept. 11, 1953. She was then united in marriage to Carl Harmon on Dec. 8, 1956. He also preceded her in death. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Jim McLeskey.
She is survived by her sons, Frank E. Davis and wife, Jane, of Mountain Home, Ark., and Ronald V. Davis, of Austin, Texas; three grandchildren: Richard Davis, Bradley Davis, and Clay Davis; two great-grandsons, Ethan Alexander Davis and Braden Alexander Davis; three brothers, Ivan McLeskey, of Dunnigan, Calif., Paul McLeskey, of Livonia, Mich., and Douglas McLeskey, of Lafe, Ark.; five sisters, Juanita Bookout, of Royal Oaks, Mich., Lucille Jewell, of Alton, Mo., Barbara Pareizs. of Lincoln Park, Mich., Linda Smith, of Arkansas, and Ella Jean Martin, of Mountain Home, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held Wednesday, Nov. 30, at 8:00 p.m., in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with David Finley officiating.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m., today, Thursday, Dec. 1, in the Piggott Cemetery.
