He was married to Betty Teague.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Barrow; three sons, Ricky Barrow, Kenny Barrow and Richard Barrow; three daughters, Geneieve "Jenny" Herdon, Darlene Gamble and Sharon Baker; one step-daughter, Linda Diane Dye; one sister, Maggie Boals, of West Memphis, Ark., along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends, all whom he dearly loved, and his beloved and loyal dog, Pookie.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Jerry Franklin Barrow and Jimmy Lee Barrow, and four sisters, Roberta Kelley, Winona Moutrie, Dean Rushing and Shirley Montgomery.
Jerry passed away peacefully at his home in Huntsville, Ala. He was born and raised in Cardwell, which he loved and always considered home.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 3, at the First United Methodist Church in Senath, Mo.
