Richard "Dickey" Tinnin, son of Minnie Sue James Tinnin and the late Herman Edgar Tinnin, was born July 23, 1946, in Kennett, and went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, at the Baptist Hospital in Memphis, Tenn., at the age of 65.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp.

Survivors include one son, Bradley Tinnin, of Lexington, Ky.; one daughter, Valorie LeFevre and husband, Brad, of Grand Ledge, Mich.; his mother, Minnie Sue James Tinnin, of Hornersville; two brothers, David Tinnin and wife, Melissa, of New Madrid, Mo., and James Tinnin and wife, Rita, of Arbyrd, Mo.; one sister, Judy Tinnin, of Neosha, Mo.; four grandchildren, Alyssa Tinnin, Amanda Tinnin, Adam LeFevre and Allison LeFevre; the mother of his children, Glenda Tinnin Badgley, and other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Tinnin, and his father, Herman Edgar Tinnin.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 19, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Senath, Mo.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 20, at the Methodist Church in Hornersville with Rev. Kevin Murray officiating.

Burial will follow in the Horner Cemetery at Hornersville, Mo.

Pallbearers are Bradley Tinnin, Brad LeFevre, James Tinnin, David Tinnin, Charles Tinnin, Joshua Tinnin, Brandon Tinnin and Shawn Tinnin.
