Florine Joann Walker, daughter of the late Johnie W. Drowns and Elizabeth
Irene Patterson Drowns, was born Dec. 13, 1942, in Bell City, Mo., and departed this life Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011, at the age of 68 years, 10 months and 26 days.
Florine married James Eugene Walker on Sept. 1, 1957.
Survivors include her husband, James Eugene Walker, of Kennett; one son, James Walker and wife, Kim, of Bonner Springs, Kan.; two daughters, Nancy Copeland and husband, Randy, of Blytheville, Ark., and Christine Stark, of Gosnell, Ark.; seven grandchildren, Kimberly Johnson, Ben Ethridge, J.M. Hogan, Dalton Walker, Nelson Hogan, Tyler Walker and J.C. Stark; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Emmitt Drowns, of O'Fallon, Mo., and Johnie David Drowns, of St. Louis, Mo.; three sisters, Aldora Callahan, of Huntington, Ark., Ethel Louise Dunn, of Kennett and Ruth Ann Brandon, of Jefferson City, Mo., and other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, Wednesday, Nov. 9, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 10, at McDaniel Chapel in Kennett with Rev. Don Evans and Tony Carnell officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
