Born July 25, 1935, in Hornersville, son of the late Wayne Huffines and Ethel Haire Huffines, he was a U.S. Marine veteran, having served in the Korean War. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hornersville, a member of the Hornersville Masonic Lodge No. 215 AF & AM, a member of the American Legion Post No. 362, and a bookkeeper for Ford Oil Co.
Survivors include one brother, Edmund Huffines, of Paragould, Ark.; one sister, Lora Mae Gates, of West Memphis, Ark., and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Faye Tucker, and two brothers, George and Curtis Huffines.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to service time at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Bradshaw-Emerson Funeral Home Chapel in Hornersville.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Bradshaw-Emerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Moore officiating.
Burial will follow in the Horner Cemetery at Hornersville.
