Joyce Crawford, of Kennett, daughter of the late William Nash and Opal LaRue Nash, was born Aug. 22, 1949, in Reno, Ark., and departed this life on Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Ark., at the age of 62.
Joyce married Kenneth Crawford on June 14, 1975.
She was a member of the Abundant life Assembly of God Church since 1980 and was a long time employee at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Ken Crawford, of Kennett; two daughters, Kelly Creed and husband, Nathan, of Kennett and Paula Gargus, of Kennett; four grandchildren, Melissa Luye and husband, Brian, Kim Emmons and husband, Dwight, Cody Roberts and Ryan Creed; two brothers, Ricky Nash and Ronnie Nash; five sisters, Glenda Traudt, Marge Redman, Cathy Hilfiker, Marilyn Richmond and Janet Archer, and other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Junior Nash, Sonny Nash and infant Elvin Nash, and two sisters, Betty Rainey and Pat Nash.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Sept. 5, at Abundant Life Assembly of God Church in Kennett with Rev. David Vanderpool officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Derek Crawford, Jerry Stubblefield, James Waynick, George Archer, Dwight Emmons and Brian Luye.
