Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 25, in the Chapel of Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, Kennesaw, Ga., with Rev. Michael Spurr officiating.
Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 25, in the Georgia National Cemetery Canton, Ga.
Mr. Wilson was a native of Senath, Mo. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 22 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Betty Wilson, of Dallas, Ga.; daughters, Carrie Habib, of Kansas City, Mo., Mary Rowland and Joyce Hood, both of Springfield, Mo.; step-daughters, Melody Tumlin, of Acworth, Ga., Georganna Thompson and Beverly Motes, both of Kennesaw, Ga.; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 24, at Winkenhofer Pine Ridge Funeral Home, in Kennesaw, Ga.
