Rebecca Ann "Becky" Chailland, of Caruth, Mo., daughter of the late Elvis Bell and Irene Williams Bell, was born May 23, 1942 in Kennett, and passed away Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011, in Caruth, at the age of 69 years, 2 months and 29 days.
Becky married Butch Chailland 51 years ago on Jan. 16th, 1960.
She was of the Methodist Faith, and enjoyed sewing, painting and knitting. She retired from the MO. Division of Family Services as a caseworker
Survivors include her loving husband and caregiver, Butch Chailland, of Caruth; two sons, Scot Chailland and wife, Christine, of Naples, Fla., and Bret Chailland and wife Trish, of Hornersville, Mo.; six grandchildren, Heather Auler, of Florida, Brian Chailland, of Alaska, Jordan Chailland, of Florida, Justin Chailland, of Florida, Brittney Herrin of Caruth, and Cameron Chailland of Senath, Mo.; five great-grandchildren, Alexis, Robert, Michael, Kealan and Jude; one brother, Michael Bell and wife, Judy, of Springfield, Mo.; sister-in-law, Gay Overton and family, of Seattle, Wash.; brother-in-law, Nobby Chailland and family, of Lubbock, Texas; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m., today, Tuesday, Aug. 23, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett with Rev. Jim Pemberton officiating.
Pallbearers were Michael S. Bell, Kenneth McKinney, Dominick Marino, Cameron Chailland, Jeromy Auler and Mark Cannon.
Honorary pallbearers were Tony Cannon, Glen Cannon, Frankie Dunivan and Jim Toombs.
